Boundary Adjustment Community Forum - Jan. 22, 2015

posted Jan 16, 2015, 1:23 PM by Jon Wollmuth

The Boundary Adjustment Committee reconvened this month to revisit the preliminary proposed options which were presented to the community at the Open House on December 9, 2014. After incorporating feedback received from that forum, as well as emails addressed to the Boundary Committee, the results are two options, A and B, which will be presented at next week's Open House on January 22, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Middleton Elementary School, 23505 SW Old Highway 99W, Sherwood, Oregon.

You can view the analyses of Options A & B on the District's dedicated boundary adjustment web page in the Committee Updates section.  Maps reflecting these boundary proposals will be posted on the site by the end of the week. Parents and community members are invited to the Open House on Thursday where they will learn more about each of these options.

As a reminder, the School Board will be presented with the Boundary Committee's boundary adjustment recommendation at the February Board meeting (02/11/15), and will be asked to approve the recommendation at the March Board meeting (03/11/15).  Please continue to visit the web page dedicated to the boundary adjustment process to access the most current information.  The committee continues to welcome your feedback at: boundarycommittee@sherwood.k12.or.us.
