Archer Glen Site Council Survey - 2017-2018

posted May 2, 2018, 3:49 PM by Sandi Emmert   [ updated May 3, 2018, 8:51 AM ]

The Archer Glen Site Council Survey for parents for the 2017-2018 school year will be available on Thursday, May 3rd at 7:30 am until Tuesday, May 8th at 12:00 pm. Please fill out the survey one time per family. The first page answers school-wide questions, then you will be prompted to answer questions based upon the grade levels of your children. Your child's teacher will have a device prepared for you to take this survey at Archer Glen during conference time. It is best to take the survey after your last conference since some questions pertain to the spring conference itself. However, you can take the survey at your home until it closes on Tuesday.  Please click on the SURVEY link to begin.

Parents, thank you for taking this survey. Your feedback is invaluable to us.

Archer Glen Carnival Next Friday - 4/13/18

posted Apr 13, 2018, 3:33 PM by Sandi Emmert

Come one and all for a great night of fun. This is a family-friendly event complete with games, food, raffles and a silent auction.  From an inflatable obstacle course, to a new and improved lollipop tree and a "pick the nose" game as well as old favorites like the fish and soda pop toss, there is literally something for everyone.   Come for the games, stay for dinner and bid on some great silent auction items and all for a good cause. Last year the event was not only an affordable evening of carnival fun, but successfully raised over $20,000. This year, the funds raised will go toward a rain / sun canopy to allow students year-round access to outdoor recess!  By simply marking your calendars & coming to the Carnival you will be pledging your support. There are also additional ways to help reach our goal, such as participating in the raffle, silent auction or the ever popular wine wall.

The Food Booth will have plenty of Papa Murphy’s Pizza, Taco Salads, Hot Dogs & Polish Dogs & Nachos all for $2 each.  We will have a variety of drinks and treats. A family of 5 can eat for under $20. Be sure to come hungry!

AG Annual "Share The Love" Food Drive

posted Feb 5, 2018, 2:17 PM by Sandi Emmert   [ updated Feb 5, 2018, 2:18 PM ]

Our annual "Share The Love" Food Drive is well underway at Archer Glen until February 16th. All donations will support Willowbrook Food Pantry in Sherwood.

We had a number of families bring in food items to help in this effort! Students will get points for their classrooms for the items that they bring. We will have a Kinder - 2nd grade classroom winner and a 3rd - 5th grade classroom winner. The competition was fierce last year, but we brought in more food than ever before. Willowbrook was overwhelmed by our support.

Remember that we will take cash donations along with food items. This gives Willowbrook the opportunity to purchase other items for families when their stock runs out.

Thank you so much for your support! This is always a fun event for our students and a way to show them how to care for others.
