Volunteer Appreciation Week at AG - 6/4 - 6/8

posted Jun 5, 2018, 11:40 AM by Sandi Emmert

The week of June 4th - June 8th is Archer Glen Volunteer Week. We appreciate all of the parent, grandparent and community member volunteers that help to make Archer Glen a GREAT school. Without the many hours of volunteer time we would not be able to offer our students opportunities like Art Literature, Oregon Battle Of The Books, Passport and Chess Club along with many other enrichment programs. Our volunteers help with Bulletin Boards, Popcorn Fridays, Friday Folders, Field Trips, reading and math groups and a hundred other school needs.

As a small thank you to our volunteers we have a Goodie Table in the front office that has treats every day of the week. Volunteers, please grab a treat each day when you are in the building.

The Archer Glen Volunteers Are Fantastic!

Archer Glen Site Council Survey - 2017-2018

posted May 2, 2018, 3:49 PM by Sandi Emmert   [ updated May 3, 2018, 8:51 AM ]

The Archer Glen Site Council Survey for parents for the 2017-2018 school year will be available on Thursday, May 3rd at 7:30 am until Tuesday, May 8th at 12:00 pm. Please fill out the survey one time per family. The first page answers school-wide questions, then you will be prompted to answer questions based upon the grade levels of your children. Your child's teacher will have a device prepared for you to take this survey at Archer Glen during conference time. It is best to take the survey after your last conference since some questions pertain to the spring conference itself. However, you can take the survey at your home until it closes on Tuesday.  Please click on the SURVEY link to begin.

Parents, thank you for taking this survey. Your feedback is invaluable to us.

Archer Glen Carnival Next Friday - 4/13/18

posted Apr 13, 2018, 3:33 PM by Sandi Emmert

Come one and all for a great night of fun. This is a family-friendly event complete with games, food, raffles and a silent auction.  From an inflatable obstacle course, to a new and improved lollipop tree and a "pick the nose" game as well as old favorites like the fish and soda pop toss, there is literally something for everyone.   Come for the games, stay for dinner and bid on some great silent auction items and all for a good cause. Last year the event was not only an affordable evening of carnival fun, but successfully raised over $20,000. This year, the funds raised will go toward a rain / sun canopy to allow students year-round access to outdoor recess!  By simply marking your calendars & coming to the Carnival you will be pledging your support. There are also additional ways to help reach our goal, such as participating in the raffle, silent auction or the ever popular wine wall.

The Food Booth will have plenty of Papa Murphy’s Pizza, Taco Salads, Hot Dogs & Polish Dogs & Nachos all for $2 each.  We will have a variety of drinks and treats. A family of 5 can eat for under $20. Be sure to come hungry!
