The easiest way to report an absence is for parents to simply send an email to jmorales@sherwood.k12.or.us.
Parents who keep their children home on a school day must contact the school by 8:30 a.m. Parents may email Archer Glen at the above email address or leave a voicemail on the Attendance Line at 825-5110. If the school does not hear from parents by 8:30 a.m., the main office or an automated system will call parents at home.
To provide proper supervision, students should not arrive at school before 7:30 a.m. Do not leave your child unattended on the school campus. Parents whose schedules do not match the school’s hours of operation must arrange for the supervision of their own children. A list of child care providers is available in the Archer Glen main office.
Late Arrival: If your student arrives at school after 7:55 am, the student will need to check in at the office before going to class.
Early Release: If a parent needs to pick up their student before dismissal, the parent will need to sign the student out at the office.
